NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic Material Takeoff Software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal Material Takeoff Software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

Updating Material Unit Prices

The BidMagic Material Manager makes it easy to update construction material unit prices, whenever the price of raw materials change.

To update material unit prices, follow these three steps:
1. Gather the latest material prices from your suppliers.
2. Enter the prices into the BidMagic Material Manager.
3. Update the unit prices in your bids and/or bidding templates.

Each of these steps will be explained in more detail in the following sections.
