NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic Material Takeoff Software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal Material Takeoff Software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

This section documents new commands added to the Bid menu of the Transfer Manager in the MacNail Material Takeoff Software

Import Material Prices

Choose Import Material Prices to import material prices into MacNail Customizing (see page 59).

Export Material Prices

Choose Export Prices to export material prices out of a MacNail Price Sheet in Customizing. A text file will be created that can be read by BidMagic Material Takeoff Software (see page 61).

Import Assemblies

Choose Import Assemblies to import assembly information into MacNail Customizing (see page 64).

Export Assemblies

Choose Export Assemblies to export information out of a MacNail Assemblies file in Customizing. A text file will be created that can be read by BidMagic Material Takeoff Software (see page 66).
