Viewing Construction Contracts

NOTE-- We retired MacNail construction software, back in 2000. Replacing it is Goldenseal, a complete software package for Macintosh and Windows that handles construction spec writing, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management, You can create project contracts and subcontracts from Goldenseal, via a process that is similar to what we did in MacNail.

Contracts...

Choose Contracts to open a contract from the MacNail construction management software. If a contract is already open, it will be brought to the front.

HINT: To open an additional contract, choose Open File from the File menu.

You'll be able to open contracts that are in either text format or spreadsheet format. Those that are in text format may not show all of their wording, however, since only the first 255 characters of each paragraph will be displayed.

WARNING: Do not use Excel to edit or save contracts that are in text format, because you may lose some text from them. Use a word processor program to edit and save contracts in text format.

Keyboard Shortcut-- Option-Command-T

Subcontracts...

Choose Subcontracts to open a subcontract from the MacNail construction management software. If a subcontract is already open, it will be brought to the front.
