The MacNail construction accounting software adds five menu comands to the Excel FILE menu (see also page 122). *New Job Cost Sheet Keyboard shortcut: option-command-N. Choose *New Job Cost Sheet to make a new Cost Control
worksheet. You can make it from an estimate or a condensed estimate, or you can make a blank worksheet 'from
scratch', with or without your own estimated costs. Running time: 40 seconds/3 minutes if Clearinghouse subcategories
are not included. NOTE-- MacNail was replaced by Goldenseal construction accounting software in 2000. Goldenseal is an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. It is much better at job costing than MacNail.
