Show pennies These items control the number display of the Running total column in Ledgers, and the total column in Logbooks. Put a check after any type of worksheet where you would like pennies to be displayed (costs will be shown like this: 3,241.06). Make this choice if you have a large monitor, and want to see the extra accuracy. Leave unchecked any type of worksheet that you would like showing whole dollars only (costs will be shown like this: 3,240). The actual cost will be calculated as entered, but the display will round the actual cost to the nearest dollar. Make this choice if you don't have room to display the extra columns, or if you don't need to see costs to the nearest penny. NOTE-- Goldenseal construction accounting software replaced MacNail in 2000. It's an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. Goldenseal includes many options for number and date formatting. Either choice will only affect new rows added to the accounting worksheets in the MacNail construction accounting software. Add xxx Lines at a time Type in the number of rows to be added to accounting worksheets each time you choose *Add Rows from the EDIT menu. You can type in any number between 1 and 100. *Date Options Choose *Date Options to set the start of your weekly payroll period and monthly billing period. When you choose this command, you will see a dialog box: Click on the day of the week that starts your payroll period. If your payroll period is not weekly or biweekly, you can ignore this item. Type in the date that starts your fiscal month. If your payroll period is semi-monthly
or monthly, this date will control your payroll period. No matter what your payroll period, it will also control
the date
