Memory is tight. Try anyway?

You will need to close some documents or otherwise free up additional memory in the MacNail construction accounting software. See page 214.

NOTE-- In 2000, MacNail was replaced by Goldenseal construction accounting software. Goldenseal is an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features.

The MacNail construction accounting software checks available memory, and warns you if there is too little for certain memory-intensive commands. You can 'try anyway', but you may have to stop midway through the operation which may leave the worksheets in a partly-finished state. If that happens, close all worksheets without saving changes. Be sure to save all worksheets before you try anyway when you get this message. You may also be able to free up additional memory first (see page 214).

Printer is printing gibberish

This is a printer problem. The printer didn't initialize correctly when turned on. Turn it off and back on.

Scroll Bar is Stuck at the Bottom

A bug in Excel 1.5 sometimes positions the vertical scroll bar at the bottom of the window while the worksheet is in the middle. To fix it: re-size the window using the size box at the bottom right (see page 209).
