When to Use Investment Types

Use Investment Types to identify types of Investment accounts.

For example, you might have classifications such as the following:

  • stocks
  • bonds
  • money market accounts
  • piggie banks
  • coins under the seat cushions

Entering Investment Types

To enter Investment Types, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Other Lists from the Options menu, and choose Investment Types from the submenu.
  2. Click the New button, and type in an item.  You can also double-click on an item and change the text.
