Check Numbers from Network Client

Problem

Entering checks from a Goldenseal multi-user software client don't always update the next check number for that account.

Workaround

Enter the check number into the checking account as follows:

  1. Choose Checking from the Accounts menu.
  2. Click on the Checkbook list on the right side of the window, and type in a new number.

Solution

This problem is fixed in Goldenseal accounting software, version 3.3.

Technical Details

In version 3.2 we fixed this for some ways of creating checks but didn't get it for all possible ways of creating checks (New button, templates, duplicate, instant payment, Pay Bills command). Now it always works.
