Pasting Your Logo

I'm having problems pasting in my logo (or other graphics).

The Windows version of Goldenseal accounting software uses the QuickTime program to handle its graphics and sounds. You can use any type of graphics that QuickTime supports-- including .gif and .jpeg formats.

To paste a logo graphic into Goldenseal, follow these steps:

  1. Open a graphics program.
  2. Select the graphic you'd like to use.
  3. Choose Copy from the Edit menu.
  4. Open your company file in Goldenseal.
  5. Choose Company Info from the File menu.
  6. Click in the logo field.
  7. Right-click your mouse, and choose Paste from the popup menu.

If you are not able to paste a graphic directly from your graphics program, open the file with the QuickTime picture viewer, which will put the graphic into a format that Goldenseal can handle. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Start button, choose Programs, choose QuickTime, and choose PictureViewer.
  2. Choose Open from the File menu.
  3. Locate your graphic file, and click the Open button.
  4. Choose Copy from the Edit menu.
  5. Open your company file in Goldenseal.
  6. Choose Company Info from the File menu.
  7. Click in the logo field.
  8. Right-click your mouse, and choose Paste from the popup menu.
