Expenses for Change Orders

How do I enter costs for work done on change orders?

When you work on project work that is covered by a Change Order, enter expenses into Goldenseal accounting software almost exactly the same as you would for regular project expenses.

You'll create an Equipment Hours, Labor Hours, Material Purchase, Subcontractor Cost or Other Cost record, just like usual.

However, in the Applies To field in the cost record, enter Change Order. Then enter the specific Change Order into the Transaction clairvoyant field.
