Oops Messages |
I just got an Oops error message. What do I do now? Whenever Goldenseal estimating software encounters a potentially serious problem, it gives an error message that starts with "Oops". That way it is clear that it's not just a normal condition (error messages for normal conditions like an incomplete field will always start with "Sorry"). If you get an Oops message, we'd like to hear about it, so we can fix the problem as quickly as possible. Please contact us. Tell us what you were doing, and what the message says. Include the part at the bottom of the message-- that tells us exactly which line of code had the problem, so it is easier for us to fix it. You can usually click the OK button to an Oops message, and just keep going. If Goldenseal quits after the message, just re-open your file, and your data should be fine.
