Opening Text Files With Mac OS X

I can't import text files with Goldenseal for Mac OS X-- they are grayed out!

This problem usually occurs when you have sent a text file as an email attachment, or moved it on a flash disk or CD that is formatted for Windows.

In those cases, the text file loses its creator information, which tells Goldenseal accounting software that it's a text file.

The solution is to compress the file with a recent version of Stuffit or Zipit, before sending it over the Internet, or storing it on a Windows-formatted drive.
