What Category Systems are available for organizing my painting business?

Each Goldenseal Starter File includes several different Category Systems, so you can organize your expenses and income into a logical set of cost divisions. One of the starter files is designed specifically for painting contractors, including unit costs and cost categories for painting work and preparation.

The Paint Starter File come with the following Category Systems:

• CSI Construction-- costs for general costruction, using system developed by Construction Standards Institute
• Drywall-- costs for drywall, stucco and plastering contractors
• Equipment Maint-- for tracking expenses for equipment maintenance and repairs
• General Construction-- costs for residential & light commercial construction. 30 items
• No Categories-- blank category system
• Office-- for office and overhead expenses
• Paint-- costs for painting and paint prep work
