Wrong Check Number

I accidentally entered a check with the wrong check number! What do I do?

It's easy to find a check with the wrong check number, and fix it. Here's how to do it:

Finding the Mistaken Check

To locate a check by its check number, follow these steps:

1. Choose Checking Transactions from the Bank menu, and choose the account from the submenu.
2. Choose Find from the Edit menu.
3. Click on the check number field (at upper right), and type in the check number you are looking for.
4. Click the Find button.

HINT-- If Goldenseal finds more than one check with the same number, click the right side of the browser "book" at upper left to see them all.

Fixing the Mistake

Once you find the check with the mistake, follow these steps:

1. Double-click on the check number.
2. Type in the correct number.
3. Hit the Enter key to save the record.
