Change Order Not in Billing

Problem

User is using Billing command for Change Orders, and a CO does not have a billing amount. Problem occurs in any version of Goldenseal project billing software.

Diagnosis

Open the Change Order record, click More Info, and check the Billing Type field.

If it's No Charge, there won't be any billing, period. They're doing it for free.

If it's anything other than Fixed Price or Price Reduction, then it's handled as time & materials billing. They need to enter some actual expense and assign them to that Change Order in the Apply To field of the expense.

Solution

Enter expenses for the project. If they apply to the change order, enter Change Order into the Apply To popup field, and this change order into the Transaction clairvoyant field. They they'll show up in billing.
