Table Drawing Problems

Problem

Some minor cosmetic drawing problems caused by recent changes in the table drawing code:

• List windows draw some excess text outside of the table boundary.
• Condensed reports sometimes cut off the titles, if they extend to the next cell.
• The Database Report shows weird text formatting in the object data window.
• The Windows version sometimes won't print table titles in printed forms.

Caught By

Turtle Creek testing and user bug reports.

Workaround

None. None are major problems.

Solution

Fixed in Goldenseal business management software version 3.4.

Technical Details

In version 3.3 we added text formatting to table titles and table columns, but it had some unintended fallout which we didn't catch right away.
