If you are having trouble downloading our demo version files or manuals, here are some possible solutions:
Here's a table of approximate download times under ideal conditions. When there is heavy Internet traffic, you may get slower downloads.
QuickTime is a free utility from Apple Computer which the Windows version of Goldenseal uses for sounds and graphics. Many Windows computers already include QuickTime, but if it's not already on your computer, you'll need to install QuickTime Player to run Goldenseal or the Goldenseal Demo. HINT-- You can also use QuickTime to view web videos and listen to web music. When you buy Goldenseal or the Goldenseal Demo on a CD, we automatically include a QuickTime installer. If you download the demo version, you may need to download QuickTime so you can run the demo. The Goldenseal installer will check to see if you already have QuickTime on your computer. If not, you can download it for free from the Apple website-- just click here. HINT-- Download the free QuickTime Player. When it asks you to fill in registration info, you can just leave the fields blank. The Goldenseal Getting Started manuals are available as Adobe Acrobat documents, so anyone can read them on any computer. If you don't already have Acrobat Reader, it's a free download-- just click here. HINT-- Any files that have a .pdf suffix are Adobe Acrobat documents. Decompression Programs (Stuffit, WinZip, ZipIt) Some Goldenseal files are compressed, so they won't take so long to download. To unzip files on Windows, use Winzip (for
free download, click here). HINT-- You can also use Stuffit Expander to decompress Mac OS X files, but some users have reported problems with that program. Zipit seems more reliable.
