Ohio has state tax withholding, based on tax tables that are similar to the federal payroll withholding tables. The withholding tables changed in 2006, 2007 and 2008 (they have been the only changes to the withholding tax formulas since 1988).

HINT-- Turtle Creek Software provides free annual updates for US federal and Ohio state tax withholding rates.
