Removing Extra Spaces

If there are extra spaces at the beginning or end of 'smart grammar' items created from the MacNail construction management software, you may end up with double spaces in parts of your contracts.

To remove them, follow these steps:

1. Select the cells from which you'd like to remove extra spaces. If you want to remove them from the entire worksheet, either select the whole worksheet, or select just one cell anywhere on the worksheet.
2. Choose Replace from the Formula menu.
3. Type in two spaces as the text to find, and one space as the text to replace it with. Look at 'part', and look by either rows or columns.
4. Click the Replace All button.
5. All extra spaces will be removed.
