Spec Writer Options

Choose Spec Writer Options to control some basic ways that Spec Writer works.

Turn on Hide screen updating to speed up operations. The only reason to turn this option off is if you'd like to see the program in action while running the MacNail construction management software.

Turn on Beep when finished to have Spec Writer beep when lengthy operations are completed. Turn it off for silent operation.

Turn on Just one Clauses file to use just Spec Writer Clauses file. Turn it off to use additional Clauses files (see page 112).

Turn on Remove recent file list to make additional room on the File menu by removing the list of the four most recently opened files. Turn it off to display those items when you are running the MacNail construction management software.

Allowance Options...

Choose Allowance Options to set the way allowances are handled.
