Project Inspections

Another quality control aid included in the MacNail project management software are the jobsite inspection sheets. You can print these sheets at basic construction milestones, and use them to "walk through" the project.

Each item that fails inspection can be added to one of the reminder lists, and tracked through to its final resolution.
The best inspectors are often people not directly connected to the job site-- you may want to have walk-throughs done by your office staff, or by someone's spouse!

You may want to add more inspection items or more inspection sheets, as you discover problems that seem to appear frequently with your crews or subcontractors.

You can open any inspection using the *Inspections command (MacNail menu) or the *Open File command (File menu). Make any changes, use *Add Rows Here or *Delete Rows to modify the list, then save changes when you close the document. All future inspection print-outs will include the changes you made in the MacNail construction scheduling software.
