Project Schedules

A MacNail schedule file is a "time line" of construction items, arranged in roughly chronological order. The MacNail construction scheduling software is not a "critical path" scheduler, but it will still be very helpful for your project management.

MacNail schedules are usually made from a MacNail estimate either directly, or by way of a project list file (an extraction of all work items created in MacNail Estimating). The estimate already contains detailed information about each unit of work. Instead of using it to calculate a cost estimate, the MacNail construction scheduling software converts it into time units.

As shown below, a MacNail schedule has two windows. The main window displays each item of work that will go into the project. Use the scroll controls at the right side of the window to see each work item.
The smaller second window shows the completion date.
