Project Tool Report

To make a Tool List in the MacNail construction scheduling software:

1. Drag the mouse through all the rows in the schedule for which you'd like to order materials.
2. Choose *Tool List from the Data menu.
3. A dialog box will appear. Choose Current Selection, and click OK.
4. The takeoff list will be created automatically. The process may take several minutes, depending on the number of items and the speed of your computer.

A Tool List is a list of tools and subcontractors needed for part or all of a project. It is particularly handy for small jobs, which seem to demand an inordinate amount of tool setup time and trips back to the shop!
