Scheduling Material Orders

To have the MacNail construction scheduling software tell you when to order materials:

1. Choose *Lead Times from the Formula menu.
2. Click OK when asked whether to add lead times.
3. Lead times will be added automatically.
4. To see when you should advance-order items such as windows and doors, click in the small completion window at the bottom of the screen, and scroll down to below the completion date.

NOTE: If the completion window is not present, choose *Set Schedule Windows from the Format menu.

The advance-ordering lead time needed for each item can be changed by using *Scheduling Options from the Options menu (see page 96).
