Scheduling with Macintosh & Windows

Using the Macintosh

This manual assumes that you already have some experience with the Macintosh computer.
You should know--
* How to use the mouse.
* How to type from the keyboard.
* You'll also need a few basic "desktop" skills such as copying and moving files between disks.

If you are completely new to the Mac, we suggest that you practice first with instructional aids like the Macintosh Guided Tour that comes with your computer.

Using Windows

This manual assumes that you already have some experience with the DOS computer and Windows.
You should know:
* How to start up your computer.
* How to begin a Windows session.
* How to manage files, using DOS and/or Windows.
* How to move the mouse.
* How to use menus.
* How to type from the keyboard.
* How to use the Windows File Manager to move files and directories.

If you are completely new to the computer, we suggest that you practice first with an experienced person at your side.

Note: Your screen may look sightly different than the pictures in this manual, depending on your computer and the version of Windows that you use.

Note: MacNail is also available for the Macintosh computer, and it was originally programmed for the Macintosh.
