Estimates from HyperEstimator

If you have imported a MacNail estimate from one of the Hyper*Estimators:

Most of the project specifications will already be entered. You should scroll through the list, and watch out for the following things:
* Unusual items. Anything that is not included in the Hyper*Estimators must be entered by hand into the MacNail construction estimating software. Note that items listed on the Other Specifications card of the Hyper*Estimators will not transfer to MacNail. They must be entered by hand into the Specifications list.
* Mixed specifications. If your project includes two or more types of construction for any item where the Hyper*Estimators offer only one choice, you will have to add the additional items into the Specification list in the MacNail construction estimating software.
* Specific unit prices. For some items such as windows, doors, and cabinets, it is worth your while to get prices from your suppliers for specific items that are part of the job. Both MacNail and the Hyper*Estimators store only a sampling of unit prices--there simply isn't enough room for every single window manufacturer and model. The pre-entered prices are good for rough estimates, but for firm bids it is wise to have actual supplier prices.
* Subcontractor quotes. Enter the subcontractor price for any item for which you receive a firm bid.The calculated prices for subcontracted items are intended to give a rough estimate only. Your bid will be much more accurate if you replace them with firm subcontractor quotes, as you receive them.
