Estimating Roof Slope and Roof Area

Roof Slope

Type in the slope of the roof, measured in inches of vertical rise per foot of horizontal run. If there is more than one roof slope, type an average slope into the MacNail construction estimating software.

Roof Area

The total area of roof that will get new roof materials is calculated for you. It is measured in squares (100 square feet per square). You can change the calculated value if it seems wrong.
