Estimating Roof Dimensions

Hips, Eaves, Ridge, Rake, Valley

Type in the length of each of these basic roof dimensions--as measured from the blueprints. If you used the Hyper*Estimator construction estimating software first, they will already be calculated for you.

Dormers

Type in the number of dormers you will be building.

Also type in their average height (measured along their outer face), and their length (measured parallel to their front face). If you are building several dormers of different sizes, type in an average size, or else type in the size of the majority of the dormers.

Gables

Type the number of new gable ends you will be building into the MacNail construction estimator software.
