Miscellaneous Items

Below the financial formulas is a place to type in some miscellaneous construction dimensions. Type the following measurements into the MacNail construction estimating software:

• Number of paint coats.
• Thickness of insulation.
• Slab or sheathing thickness.
• Stud spacing.

When you have finished with the Dimensions section, you may want to protect the worksheet again by choosing Protect Document from the OPTIONS menu. Do not type in a password--just click OK. For more about Excel document protection, see page 60.
