Misc. Dimensions
Type the following measurements into the MacNail construction estimating software:
1. For the room counts, type 3 for the
total room count, 0 (zero) kitchens, 1 bath, 0 (zero) bedrooms, FALSE for laundry. (Select Calculate
Now from the OPTIONS menu to display the number of other rooms--2.)
2. Type in 1 closet.
3. Type FALSE for the Attic and Basement.
4. Type in 4 interior doors, 2 exterior doors, 4 windows, and 1 skylight.
5. Type in 0 for the eave height (distance from the top floor ceiling to the junction of roof and
outside wall) and 1 for the floor height (height of the first floor from the ground).
6. Type in a footer depth of 4 feet (or the depth from footer to ground that you use most often).
7. Type in an average ground slope of 0 (zero), for flat land.
