To estimate any construction project, you will go
through four steps:
1. Set Fixed Costs.
2. Set Project Dimensions.
3. Set Project Specifications.
4. View the final price.
Incidentally, you can leave this tutorial at any time. To do so:
1. Choose Quit from the FILE menu (to quit the MacNail construction estimator software entirely)
or choose *Close Estimate from the FILE menu (to stop work on the sample project
but remain in the MacNail construction estimating software ).
2. Click 'yes' when you are asked to save changes (unless you want to undo all changes you made since the
last save --in which case, click 'no').
We will now go through each step of the estimate in sequence.
