Adding Estimator Line Items

Use the Add Rows Here command to insert additional rows for more Specifications line items in a MacNail construction estimator file.

To insert additional rows:

1. Click the mouse at the spot where you'd like to add more rows, and drag down through as many rows as you'd like to add. For example, to add five new rows in the middle of Other Demolition, click in that section and drag down through five rows.
2. Choose Add Rows Here from the Edit menu.
3. New blank rows will be added, with all necessary estimating formulas automatically included.
4. You'll now be able to enter information about the new line items (see page 49). To change the skilled wage rates or the method of computing labor/ materials/subs in the new items, select the row or rows to change, then choose Specs Formulas from the Formula menu (see page 211).
