Cost Subcategories

If you have inserted a new subcategory into the middle of existing subcategories, then the MacNail construction management software will automatically renumber all the subcategories so they remain in sequential order.

To add a new final subcategory after all the other subcategories under a main category, click just after the final subcategory line in the desired category. If you're in Specifications, click the mouse anywhere within the first subcategory of the following main category. If you're in the Clearinghouse, click anywhere in the category heading row immediately following the last subcategory line.

To add a new first subcategory before all other subcategories, you must be in the Clearinghouse. Click on the current first subcategory-- The MacNail construction estimating software will move it down, and the new subcategory will be inserted just before it.
