You can use this column to enter your requisition or invoice numbers if you are billing labor on a cost-plus basis. Enter any other comments here, as needed.

Paid

Use the pd? column to enter employee pay check numbers, if you desire. This is especially valuable if you pay your workers as subcontractors, give frequent advances, or otherwise deviate from standard weekly payments.
If you have MacNail post your payroll checks to the Ledger, click the Post back to Ledger button when posting, and the check number for each item of work will be posted back to this column automatically.

Cost Control

The MacNail construction accounting software fills in the cc? column with the amount as a way to mark off items after they are transferred to Cost Control worksheets. See page 132 for further information.
WARNING: Do not change the cc or p&l columns! It will cause inaccuracies in your job costing.

P&L

This column is used by MacNail Cost Control to mark off items after they are transferred to profit and loss (p&l) worksheets. See page 145 for further information.
