Sales Tax

Type in the sales tax rate for each materials supplier in the MacNail construction accounting software. This number is a multiplier--if you pay 7% sales tax, type 1.07 into the Sales Tax column. If you have no state or local sales tax, type 1 into the Sales Tax column.

If you itemize sales tax in the Material Log, you can also use this column for discounts. If you receive a 2% discount, type .98 into this column. If you receive a 10% discount, type .90.

Other Supplier Names

Type in the name of all your miscellaneous businesses, such as utilities, office supplies, lawyers and municipalities.
The code number for each supplier is the number in the same row, in the code column (far left).

Subcontractors Names

Type in the names of each of your subcontractors.
The code number for each supplier is the number in the same row, in the code column (far left).
