Entering Subcontractor Costs

The MacNail construction accounting software also includes Logbooks designed specifically for subcontractors and 'miscellaneous' items.

If most of your payments to subcontractors and 'other' suppliers cover only one job and one construction category, you can enter these items directly into the Checkbook Ledger. Many of our users handle things this way.

If you do decide to use either the Subcontractor Log or the Misc Log, you will find them very similar to the Labor Log and Material Log described in the previous sections.

To see the Sample Subcontractor Log, choose *Subcontractor Log from the MacNAIL menu. To see the Sample Misc Log, choose *Misc Log from the MacNAIL menu.
