Construction unit cost for temporary stair treads for early construction phases. They'll be removed and replaced with a finished stairway later in the construction process.

We figure 42 lineal feet of 2x12 lumber (enough for 14 steps 3 feet in width). This unit cost is based on an 8 foot ceiling height. The labor and material costs are adjusted for different ceiling heights.
