Concrete construction unit cost for installation of concrete floor slabs.

This cost covers the cost per cubic yard for a slab of any thickness. Use it along with the cost per square foot.

NOTE-- This is half of a two-part unit cost that covers any slab thickness. Goldenseal also includes standard unit costs for slabs in three common thicknesses, 4" , 5" and 6".

One cubic yard of slab volume.

We figure about one hour of labor per cubic yard of pour (part skilled labor and part unskilled).

This covers placement of the concrete.

NOTE-- The cost of reinforcing and finishing is covered in the per square foot unit cost.

The cost includes one yard of concrete with an additional 8% waste factor, and a reminder to bring some concrete placement tools.
