PROBLEM

When importing payroll tax tables for Washington state, the new Seattle city tax loses some decimals.

Workaround

Enter the correct rate into the Tax Item, after the import.

Solution

This problem is fixed, in version 4.5 of Goldenseal payroll software.

NOTE-- This is a basic problem that has been in Goldenseal payroll software, all along. However, Seattle is the first location we've seen, that uses a dollar tax based on fractional pennies.

Technical Details

Programmer note-- a MEMB resource change, so the value can use fractional cents.
