View Unfinished Problems Button

Feature

Starting with Goldenseal project management software version 4.2, you can add a View Unfinished Problems button to job accounts and cost accounts. The button will link to all items in the Problem Log that apply to that account, and that are not yet finished.

If you click on the button in a project, it will show unfinished problems in that project. If you click on the button in an employee or subcontractor account, it will show unfinished problems being handled by that person.

NOTE-- There is also a View Unfinished To Do List button, which shows unfinished items in the To Do List.

How to Use

This new button is currently optional, though we will probably add it to the stock layouts in a future update.

To add the View Unfinished Problems button to a layout, follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Accounts from the submenu.
2. Enter the desired type of account into the Account Type popup field, at upper left.
3. Click the button tool in the tool palette on the left side of the window (fifth row left).
4. Click in the layout, and drag a rectangle where you'd like the button to appear.
5. You'll see a list of available buttons. Choose View Unfinished Problems or View Unfinished To Do List.
6. Click OK.
7. Close the layout and save changes.
