Unallocated Job Costs

PROBLEM

In the Job Costs window, double-clicking on the Unallocated category line does not show the specific expense items. Doing that works fine for all regular categories, but not for Unallocated.

Caught By

Discovered during the Albany training class.

Workaround

Change the Details Shown on Double-Click popup field to Items, when you are looking at the list of projects. That will show all expenses at once.

Solution

This problem has been fixed in version 4.2 of Goldenseal small business accounting software.
