QuickBooks Import-- Macintosh Data

PROBLEM

The import of QuickBooks data does not work for some Macintosh versions run on OS X.

User bug report.

Workaround

None.

Solution

This problem is fixed in Goldenseal accounting software version 4.2.

Newer versions of Quickbooks for Macintosh apparently exports using Unix-style line endings. We were not recognizing them correctly when parsing the QuickBooks data.

NOTE-- This fix should also solve importing problems with any other data using Unix-style line endings.
