Project CTID Field

PROBLEM

In Goldenseal version 4.1, clicking the More Info button gives a message about a missing CTID field, before it opens the "more info" window.

This problem was introduced in version 4.1, so it does not affect any earlier versions.

User bug reports, Turtlesoft testing.

Workaround

You can continue after clicking OK to the error message. It won't cause any problems, except for the annoyance of seeing the message.

If you aren't updating to 4.2, you can fix this problem by doing the following:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Accounts from the submenu.
2. Enter Projects into the Account popup field at upper left.
3. Enter Project Setup into the Layout popup field.
4. You'll get a warning about the missing CTID field. Click OK.
5. Click on the Contract title.
6. Choose Cut from the Edit menu.
7. Close the layout, and save changes.

Solution

This problem is fixed in version 4.2 of the Goldenseal project management software.
