Employee Comp Time

When entering or using comp time in Labor Hours records, the Employee account balance was not being updated.

Solution

We never had any code to do this! It has now been added, starting with version 4.2 of Goldenseal payroll software.

To fix the balance in any employees with previous comp time, follow these steps:

1. Choose Employees from the Accounts menu.
2. Choose Security from the View menu, then choose Clean Up Records from the submenu.
3. Goldenseal will go through each account, and update the Comp Time balance. It will also clean up any other posting problems that may have occurred, in the past.
