Individual Bid Warnings

Starting with Goldenseal bidding software version 4.2, you can set the type of warning you'll get for overpayments, in each individual Bid and Purchase/Work Order.

In earlier versions, you could only set the warning for all Bids at once, in Preferences.

How to Use

To set the warning you get for overpayments in all Bids, follow these steps:

1. Choose Preferences from the Options menu, and choose Expenses from the submenu.
2. Use the popup fields in the Overpayment Warnings section to specify the types of warnings you'd like.
3. Click OK.

To set the warning you get for overpayments in a single Bid, follow these steps:

1. Choose Bids from the Income menu.
2. Locate the bid you'd like to change.
3. Click the More Info button.
4. Use the Warning Type popup field to set the warning for overpayments on this bid.
5. Click OK.
