Date in Duplicate Records

Starting in Goldenseal small business software version 4.1, you can control the dates that are used in duplicate records.

How to Use

To set the dates in duplicated records, follow these steps:

1. Choose Preferences from the Options menu, and choose Data Entry from the submenu.
2. To enter today's date in duplicates, turn the Fill Same Date in Duplicates checkbox off. Turn it on to duplicate the date, along with other fields.
3. Click OK.

HINT-- You can switch the Preferences option back and forth, if you sometimes want to have a duplicated date, and sometimes want today's date.
