Schedule Delays

Feature

In Estimates with an Item breakdown, you can choose whether a delay is measured in hours or days.

In Estimates with a Category breakdown, delays were measured in hours, but starting with Goldenseal 3.9, they are in days, instead.

NOTE-- The Unit Size field in a Category breakdown is just a text field, so we can't offer a choice of delay units like we can in an Item breakdown.

How to Use

To enter a delay in an Estimate, follow these steps:

1. Click in the breakdown table, at the place where you'd like to add a delay.
2. Choose Table from the Edit menu, and choose Insert Row from the submenu.
3. Enter Delay into the Cost Area column.
4. Type in the amount of the delay into the Quantity column.
5. Goldenseal will automatically adjust the rest of the schedule to include the delay.
