New Reconcile Bug Fixes

PROBLEM

In version 3.7, we introduced the New Reconcile command as a new, "beta" method to reconcile bank accounts. It was much snazzier than the original Reconcile command, but as expected, it had a couple of bugs in it.

The Start Balance and End Balance were sometimes incorrect, and Void transactions showed the wrong amount in the list of bank transactions.

Workaround

Use the old Reconcile command.

Solution

Starting with version 3.9 of our check writing software, we have retired the old Reconcile command. When you choose Reconcile from the Bank menu, it will now show the "new" form, which works very reliably.
