Goldenseal Estimating software version 3.9 adds a Change Crew Size button. It lets you change the crew size used for a project, so you can change the overall project schedule very quickly.

How to Use

The Change Crew Size button is included on the default layout for Estimates with an Items breakdown. Just click it, and type in the new crew size. Goldenseal will automatically adjust the crew size in all line items for the estimate.

If you have customized your Estimates layout, then you'll need to add this new button to your customized layout. To do so, , follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Transactions from the submenu.
2. Enter Estimates into the Transaction popup field at upper left.
3. Enter Items into the Layout popup field at upper left.
4. Click on the Button tool (fifth row left in the tool palette on the left side of the window).
5. Click in the layout, and drag a rectangle where you'd like the button to appear.
6. You'll see a list of buttons. Choose Change Crew Size, then click OK.
7. Close the Custom Layout window, and save changes.
