All Expenses Report

PROBLEM

The All Expenses report was rounding values to the nearest dollar. Some users found this confusing.

We now show values rounded to the nearest penny.

User bug reports.

Workaround

To change the rounding in any report, follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Reports from the submenu.
2. Enter Expenses into the Area popup field at upper left.
3. Enter All Expenses into the Report popup field at upper left.
4. Double-click on any number column in the report table (the large rectange in the middle of the layout).
5. Enter Nearest Penny into the Data Rounding and Total Rounding popup fields.
6. Click OK.
7. Choose Save from the File menu, to save changes in the layout.

Solution

Version 3.9 of the Goldenseal accounting software now uses penny rounding in the All Expenses report.
